• Respond to your enquiry.
• Confirm and manage your session booking.
• Send you booking confirmation and payment instructions.

4. Confidentiality

Any information you share in the context of a counselling relationship is held in the strictest confidence, in accordance with the HPCSA's ethical guidelines. Confidentiality may only be breached in limited circumstances prescribed by law — for example, where there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others. These circumstances are discussed with clients at the outset of the counselling relationship.

Booking information is stored securely in an encrypted database. Email communications are transmitted via a secure email delivery service. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.

6. Your Rights Under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information (subject to any legal retention obligations).
• Withdraw consent for the processing of your information.
